Where it fits: Magnets
Magnets remove tramp iron from grain and flour streams, protecting rolls and sifters and keeping metal out of food. We supply ten types for grain intake, pipelines and finished product. See all magnets.
Care and replacement
- Clean collected metal off the magnet on a fixed schedule, because a loaded magnet stops catching metal.
- Record what you find. Rising metal can point to a worn machine upstream.
