Product overview
Plansifter sieves are stacked in a box, and stock must flow only through the channels the mill flow intends. Felt seals fill the small gaps between frames and the sifter walls so flour cannot bypass a sieve or leak from one stream into another.
Felt is soft enough to compress into uneven gaps and resilient enough to keep sealing as the sifter moves. A good seal protects product quality, and a hardened or missing seal quietly mixes streams.
