Product overview
The plansifter frame is the box that holds the milling fabric and the cleaners beneath it. Its perforated base supports the cleaners, and its channels guide sifted and overtail stock to the right outlet. A frame that is warped or worn lets stock bypass the sieve and wears the cloth unevenly.
We supply frames made to your sifter's size and type, plus frame accessories such as step-type sheets (for example 500 × 620 mm, 28 gauge). Many mills keep a set of spare, ready-clothed frames for their busiest passages, so a damaged sieve can be swapped in minutes.
